Q: How can I purchase tickets for Guitartown concerts?
A: Advance tickets are purchased easily on this website, through our online ticket company Ticketleap. Just click on the “buy tickets” button. You can use VISA, Master Card, American Express or Discover. Please print out your receipt and bring to the show for admission. If using a mobile device, please bring the device with confirmation of purchase.
Q: Can I buy tickets at the door?
A: Yes, tickets are sold at the venue the day of the concert, from 6:00 PM until show time, cash only please. Door tickets are $5 more than advance tickets.
Q: Where are the concerts held?
A: Most of our shows are at Best Video Performance Space, 1842 Whitney Avenue, Hamden, CT. It’s an intimate listening room seating 70 people. Beer, wine, coffee, and snacks are served.
We also have two other great venues. Spaceland Ballroom, seating 125, is at 295 Treadwell St., Hamden, CT. Unitarian Society Hall, seating 360, is at 700 Hartford Turnpike, Hamden, CT. Directions are on the “our venues” page of the website.
Q: What are the seating arrangements at Best Video
A: Seating is in rows of upholstered chairs with some table seats, and stools in rear.
Q:What are the seating arrangements at Spaceland Ballroom?
A: There are 8 large tables near the stage, each seating 6 people. These table seats are reserved, and large parties can be seated together. The other seating is in rows, general admission. The room is intimate and everyone has a good seat.
Q: What are the seating arrangements at Unitarian Hall?
A: Seating is in thirteen gently curving rows of upholstered benches, not individual chairs. The front center section, seating 90 people, is reserved. The remaining seating is general admission. *Please note that even in the reserved section, seating is first come-first served.
Q: Is food available at your shows?
A: Yes. At the Spaceland Ballroom there is a full dinner menu. You can enjoy dinner before the show, starting at 6:00, in the adjacent Outer Space dining room.

At Unitarian Society hall we have cookies and snacks. However, there are several good restaurants within 2 miles, where you can enjoy dinner before the show.

Q: How about drinks?
A: The Spaceland Ballroom has two bars, serving a wide assortment of delicious craft beers and wines. At Unitarian Society Hall, we sell coffee, tea, soft drinks, and bottled water.
Q: How old do you have to be to attend Guitartown shows?
A: Unitarian Society shows are all ages, and kids 16 and under are free. At the Spaceland Ballroom, it’s 21 and over, but those under 21 may attend if accompanied by a parent.
Q: Are your venues handicapped accessible?
A: Yes. Please call or email us with specific questions.
Q: What is your refund policy?
A: Our policy is no refunds or exchanges unless a show is cancelled. If you have a special circumstance, call or email us and we’ll see what we can work out.
Q: Where can I park?
A: Both venues have large free parking lots.
Q: What are your policies regarding photo/video/audio?
A: Photos are fine, but please no flash. Recording on cell phones is fine too, but please be considerate, and don’t block other peoples’ view.
