It's more than just "picks and strings". These musicians are open and eloquent in discussing their lives, their music, and their hopes and dreams.

Check out my recent conversation with Chris Eldridge.
Chris Eldridge, son of the late Ben Eldridge of The Seldom Scene, is one of the most renowned guitarists in acoustic music. After winning a Grammy nomination with the Seldom Scene in 2007, Chris co-founded The Infamous Stringdusters, who won 3 IBMA awards for their first album. He then joined up with Chris Thile and the Punch Brothers, and the rest is history.
Chris tours with legendary jazz guitarist Julian Lage, plays in the house band on "Live From Here" (formerly Prairie Home Companion), teaches music at his alma mater Oberlin College, and tours with his wife Kristin Andreassen. An eloquent and thoughtful observer of music, he has a special connection to his friend and mentor Tony Rice.
