Bob Amos was the longtime leader of the bands Front Range and Catamount Crossing. A prolific songwriter, his songs have been recorded by Hot Rize, Danny Paisley, Junior Sisk, Audie Blaylock, Special Consensus, The Chapmans and more.

He and daughter Sarah Amos recorded the album Ever Onward, which reached #1 on the Folk DJ national chart, and the song “Hills That I Call Home” reached #1 on the Folk Alliance International chart.

Darren Nicholson has played mountain music since his youth in western North Carolina. A great mandolinist with Alecia Nugent, and for seventeen years with Balsam Range, he’s also an introspective songwriter, a harmony singer, lead vocalist, and guitarist.
These days, he's a man on a mission, to bring North Carolina roots music back to the local community.
